IUCA Board Meeting – Jun

Dear pastors, brothers, and sisters, peace be with you! Welcome to the GLEC English Mission Hub News segment. This segment aims to provide real-time reports on various ministry activities conducted by our center worldwide. We hope that through your engagement, subscription, and sharing, we can bless more people together and witness the miraculous works of God. Recently, at the Central Asia Children’s Education Ministry and IUCA and HTC University Board meetings held on June 11th and 12th, we witnessed the steady progress of GLEC in various mission fields across Central Asia. Please watch the report:

The Vice Chairman of the GLEC Board Dr. Zhu Qin Xian, overseer of IUCA affairs Raymond Yee, and Elder Chen joined directors from various Central Asia ministries for the Charity Christ Foundation’s annual board meeting on June 11th as well as the IUCA and HTC annual board meeting on June 12th. These meetings reviewed the budget for children’s education and university education ministries.

The annual Charity Christ Foundation board meeting provides a great opportunity for face to face interaction with the local coworkers. During this meeting, we not only received various reports, but more importantly we learned about the outstanding teachers in the schools who have received national recognition and achieved professional milestones. Many students have also excelled academically. We thank the Lord for the significant growth in academic, personal, and spiritual aspects among these students under the faithful guidance of their teachers. We also heard testimonies of students being baptized and accepting the Lord through their teachers’ influence. We are deeply grateful for the staff and faculty of their perseverance in providing their students with great education.

Since adjusting our strategy last year to centralize the pastoral leadership of children’s education ministries from the US headquarters, pastors have been able to focus more on their work, extending care not only to students but also to teachers and even interacting more with parents through their students. The platform for community gospel expansion—the sports hall ministry—also brought good news this year as the gymnasium at Jabarshy School has been completed and is now in use. Currently, the gymnasium at Belovodsk School is the only one remaining in the planning and construction phase among all schools.

At the IUCA board meeting on June 12th, the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Strategic Planning shared further developments at IUCA, including renovations of IUCA, HTC, and dormitory buildings. The Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs discussed the integration of academic programs between IUCA and HTC, while the Chief Financial Officer detailed the audited annual financial statements. Local reports highlighted the school’s increasingly streamlined management and the academic progress of students. Many students have not only continued their studies post-graduation, but have also received opportunities for overseas scholarships.

Since taking over the student ministry and children’s education ministry established by Elder Yang Jiashan in 2017, GLEC has made tremendous progress in both the physical facilities as well as ministry management. We would like to thank our brothers and sisters for supporting us over these years. If you would like to make a donation to help our efforts, please click the link on the screen. This concludes our program. Please continue to follow our YouTube channel and Instagram. Thank you for watching, and see you next time.
