IUCA Graduation Ceremony – Jun

Dear pastors, brothers, and sisters, peace be with you! Welcome to the GLEC English Mission Hub News segment. This segment aims to provide real-time reports on various ministry activities conducted by our center worldwide. We hope that through your engagement, subscription, and sharing, we can bless more people together and witness the miraculous works of God. On June 7th at 4PM, the International University of Central Asia (IUCA) held its 2024 graduation ceremony at the downtown square in Tokmok. Please watch the report:

A total of 151 undergraduate and associate degree students graduated this year, marking the highest number of graduates in IUCA’s history, with 69 from the university and 82 from the Humanities and Technical College (HTC). Several distinguished individuals came to speak at the ceremony, including the Minister of Education, representatives from Congress, the vice mayor of Tokmok, and ambassadors from various countries including the United States and Switzerland. Dr. Zhu Qin Xian, chairman of both the IUCA and HTC boards and also of GLEC, encouraged the graduates on behalf of the boards and supporting institutions, delivering a memorable speech.

The walking ceremony proceeded with the presentation of certificates to all 151 graduates. President Clark, Pastor Hong from GLEC, Elder Chen, and HTC Principal Valery took turns presenting certificates and taking commemorative photos with each graduate. We thank the Lord that all graduates walked with confidence, displaying their sense of pride and accomplishment.

Finally, President Clark rang the bell four times, marking the end of the journey for these students over the past four years.

Since its establishment in 2008, IUCA, has upheld its integrity both in academics and faculty systems. It provides an environment rooted in biblical ethics and values, aiming to nurture ethical and moral leaders who can impact and transform Kyrgyz society in their respective fields.

We are deeply grateful for allowing GLEC and its partners to participate in cultivating these young university students and for the successful graduation of IUCA’s class of 2024. We pray that God continues to guide these graduates as they embark on their careers, using the knowledge and Christian values they’ve acquired to contribute their talents to the nation of Kyrgyzstan.
