Central Asia Gym Ministry – March

Dear pastors, brothers, and sisters, peace be with you! Welcome to the GLEC English Mission Hub News segment. This segment aims to provide real-time reports on various ministry activities conducted by our center worldwide. We hope that through your engagement, subscription, and sharing, we can bless more people together and witness the miraculous works of God. In recent years, the children’s education ministry hub in Central Asia has gradually expanded with the construction of three gymnasiums and the deployment of young pastors for shepherding. The gospel ministry in gyms is flourishing in the community. Please watch the report:

Since GLEC took over the children’s education ministry in Central Asia in 2017, spreading the Gospel to the youth in the community has been our missionary strategy. After nearly seven years of unremitting efforts, Kara-Balta, Ivanovka, and Jabarshy have each added a gym, with two pastors assigned to each one. Currently, the gym ministries are exerting a growing influence in the community.

The gymnasium at Ivanovka Christian School serves not only as a gathering place for volleyball and table tennis clubs but also as a home for youth fellowship. The Feast of Love youth fellowship meets every Friday evening at 7pm. Each week, 10 to 15 young people from the community gather here to enjoy the fun of sports and also eagerly listen to the word of God. This fellowship uses both sports and entertainment as well as spreading God’s Love and teachings to help the youth with their growth and open the door for children to know Christ.

At Kara Balta School Gymnasium, the Sunday Youth Evangelical Club has become a meeting place for the youth of the city. Young people from both local churches and different regions attend these meetings. The purpose of this club is to build friendships and deepen understanding of God through exchange and discussion. Through these activities, young people can not only enjoy the fun of collective activities but also experience more growth and spiritual experiences in their faith.

On March 22nd of this year, young people from Tokmok, the Children’s Playground, and Ivanovka gathered at the MCCF table tennis competition to showcase their skills. The competition was held at the Tokmok gymnasium with about 10 participants. This sports competition was a grand event for the growth and spiritual exchange of young people.

The gospel ministries in four school gymnasiums in Kyrgyzstan are flourishing. We pray that through sports, gatherings, and competitions, they will not only have healthy bodies but, more importantly, will come to know more about God’s love and teachings. This concludes our program. Please continue to follow our YouTube channel and Instagram. Thank you for watching, and see you next time.
