Faithful Children’s Center – February

Dear pastors, brothers, and sisters, peace be with you! Welcome to the GLEC English Mission Hub News segment. This segment aims to provide real-time reports on various ministry activities conducted by our center worldwide. We hope that through your engagement, subscription, and sharing, we can bless more people together and witness the miraculous works of God. We urgently need everyone’s assistance as there are serious safety hazards in both the boys’ and girls’ dormitories at our faithful children’s center in Myanmar. Please see the report below:

The Faithful Children’s Center in Lashio, Myanmar is the youngest children’s center in the mission area of GLEC in Myanmar. Despite experiencing pandemics and conflicts since its establishment in March of 2020, God has brought more than 50 children to the center, making it a platform for changing children’s lives with the gospel. However, it now faces a severe challenge and urgently needs the support and prayers of brothers and sisters. The house rented by the center has serious hazards due to limited funds during construction. This not only affects the living environment of the children but also threatens their safety.

With the increase in the number of children, the center built boys’ and girls’ dormitories with bamboo and small trees last year. However, these structures have been hollowed out by termites and other insects, making them structurally unstable and endangering the safety of the children. Especially during the rainy season, the leakage problem worsens, making the children’s lives even more difficult.

To solve this problem, the Faithful Children’s Center has decided to rebuild, planning to use a sturdier and more durable iron frame structure. Although this will require more funds, it can ensure long-term stability and safety. According to estimates by the welding engineering team, the reconstruction will require approximately 25 million Burmese kyats, or 12,000 USD. The Faithful Children’s Center hopes to quickly raise enough funds through the prayers and support of brothers and sisters to complete the reconstruction work by March 1, providing the children with a warm and safe home.

Brothers and sisters, please pray for the Faithful Children’s Center in Myanmar. We hope that you can help supply their needs in this special environment and provide them with a safe and warm home. This concludes the current program. Please continue to follow our YouTube channel and Instagram. Thank you for watching, and see you in the next program.
