MCCF Mission News – February

Dear pastors, brothers, and sisters, peace be with you! Welcome to the GLEC English Mission Hub News segment. This segment aims to provide real-time reports on various ministry activities conducted by our center worldwide. We hope that through your engagement, subscription, and sharing, we can bless more people together and witness the miraculous works of God. During the month of February, the Mercy Christian Charity Foundation, or MCCF, hosted several events for students to grow in their education and faith. Please see the report below:

On February 5th, science competitions were held for 8th grade students at the Belovodsk school. Alongside this competition was a chemistry show organized by the students for their junior high peers. They displayed various experiments that delighted the young students. The school hosted a scientific and practical conference on February 8, where seven teams of students from 8th to 11th grade participated. They presented research projects on math, literature, English, computer science, physical education, physics, and biology.

On February 13th, the gym’s youth group was taken to the mountains for a fun retreat where they made a campfire, sang songs, and asked coordinators questions about Faith. The trip strengthened their beliefs and inspired them to continue learning about God.

The orphanage in Kara Balta was visited by students of the local secondary school in order to understand the lifestyle and guidelines within the orphanage. Many of the students had not heard about the orphanage prior to the visit. They held a tea party afterwards where they mingled and continued to get to know each other.

The Bible League Evangelistic Team from Bishkek visited the boarding school in Kemin and presented an interactive play based on the book of Genesis. They taught the students how to distinguish between right and wrong through God’s word. During lunchtime, the students watch Christian cartoons on particular themes so teachers can draw their attention to moral qualities that they can be taught. The children enjoy these cartoons because they are both fun and informative.

Brothers and sisters, please pray for the health of the students and youth in Kyrgyzstan. We hope that their education can help them become great leaders in the future, and we pray that their faith continues to grow. This concludes our program. Please continue to follow our YouTube channel and Instagram. Thank you for watching, and see you next time.
