Myanmar Mission Hub News – December

Hello to the Pastors, brothers, and sisters. Peace be with you! Welcome to the “Worldwide Abundance” segment of the Harvest News. This segment provides real-time reports on various ministries and activities that Worldwide Abundance is involved in around the world. We hope that your attention, subscription, and sharing can bring blessings to more people and allow us to experience miraculous works together.

During the recent Christmas season, we had a few Christmas activities in our mission fields worldwide. Let’s take a look at the news from our coworkers in the midst of political turmoil in Yangon, Myanmar.

Due to the ongoing conflicts in northern Myanmar, especially impacting Yangon, our coworkers in Zones 3 and 5 celebrated an early and sweet Christmas in the beginning of December. About 300 adults and children attended the Christmas gathering, where Pastor Ding Nan delivered a message on the significance of Jesus’ birth during Christmas. The children celebrated Christmas through reciting verses, dancing, and singing. The headquarters in the United States specially prepared 300 boxes of fried noodles, drinks, and 100 pairs of slippers for the event, bringing joy to both children and parents.

We thank God for arranging a Christian from the Karen ethnic group to serve as the principal in a public school in Ahsukai Village. On December 11, our coworkers had the opportunity to organize a Christmas event at this government school, sharing the Christmas message with five teachers and 262 students. A partnership was established with the school for future assistance.

During the Christmas period, our co-workers bravely shared the Christmas message with 100 security personnel in the nearby community, distributing Christmas gifts as well. May God open their hearts and let the seeds of the Gospel take root and grow within them.

We are grateful for the dedicated service of Pastor Wang Junxue and Pastor Ding Nan in Zones 3 and 5 in Yangon. They request prayer support for these things:

  1. The need for more durable stainless steel bookshelves in the library along with the hope that the “Virtuous Holy Library” becomes a blessing for the children in the area.
  2. The continuous expansion of the Gospel ministry in Zones 3 and 5.
  3. The establishment of a Children’s Worship Center in Yangon for the Glory of God.
  4. Continued prayers for peace in Myanmar’s politics.

This concludes the current program. Please continue to follow our YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok channels. Thank you for watching, and see you in the next program.
